The town’s busiest retail district runs east/west along Route 44, from Avon in the east to New Hartford on the west border. This corridor has seen the greatest development in recent decades. The Shops at Farmington Valley, the largest retail center in the Farmington Valley, is a highly successful lifestyle mall featuring top national and unique regional brands.
