Dear Canton Residents,

This week the Board of Selectmen begins work on the 2016-2017 Town Budget. Our Chief Administrative Officer, Robert Skinner, will present his proposed budget, which can be viewed here, to the BOS at our meeting on Wednesday, February 10th at 7:00 pm at the Community Center. The BOS will consider this proposed budget and any modifications over the coming weeks, and will vote to adopt a budget on March 9th. On March 15th, the BOS will present its budget to the Board of Finance. The Board of Finance will then hold a public hearing on the budget on March 28th. If you wish to learn more about the budget or share your thoughts, please plan to attend any or all of these meetings.

The budget will be presented to Town Meeting on Monday, May 9th. More information will be forthcoming on the budget as the process moves forward. Please check the Town website and emails for updates.
