5/16/2015 - Collinsville Volunteer Fire Dept Jamboree May 13-16

Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department announces its 49th annual Jamboree; a family-oriented carnival offering: traditional rides; games of chance; great food; beer & wine garden; spectacular fireworks display, and back by popular demand, the Firefighter’s Parade.

Wednesday, May 13, 2015 through Saturday, May 16, 2015: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm each night

Bracelet Nights - $22.00 each night; enjoy Carnival rides from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Fireworks Display on May 15th

Firefighters Parade on May 16th: Begins at 6:00 pm at Canton High School: Simonds Ave to Rte. 179, to Rte. 202, to the Jamboree Field.

All this fun will happen at the Jamboree Field, 91 Powder Mill Road, Collinsville, CT.

Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. is a not for profit, independent, social and philanthropic association. CVFD is comprised of both active and retired firefighters whose main charge is to support the work of the Town of Canton Volunteer Fire & EMS Department, because they know and never forget why volunteer firefighters and EMTs do what they do.

Due to the CVFD fireworks display on Friday, May 15th it will be necessary to CLOSE the south side of Powder Mill Road at the Route 202 intersection from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM (approx)
Access to Powder Mill Road will be available from Town Bridge Road.
Route 202 will be congested at times with pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

After the fireworks display there will be no vehicle access into the carnival grounds on Powder Mill Road due to vehicles exiting and pedestrians walking.
Please plan accordingly if picking up family or friends
