TOWN OF CANTON, CONNECTICUT
PUBLIC HEARING
Wednesday, February 27, 2019

The Board of Selectmen, in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the Town Charter, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Canton Community Center, Room F, 40 Dyer Avenue, Canton, Connecticut to take comments on the following:

Adoption of an Ordinance entitled “Termination of Office of Elected Constables” which pursuant to CGS 9-185 and effective upon the end of terms expiring November of 2019 eliminates the position of Constable for the Town of Canton. No Constables shall thereafter be elected or appointed.

A copy of the ordinance is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Library and on line at www.townofcantonct.org.
