CANTON CT – PRIMARY CLARIFIER REHABILITATION

 

LEGAL NOTICE

Town of Canton, CT (Owner) invites sealed Bids for Primary Clarifier Rehabilitation, which generally includes removal & replacement of clarifier mechanisms, repair & lining of existing clarifier concrete and appurtenant electrical and Site Work. Substantial Completion: within 180 days. Final Completion Punchlist complete within 210 calendar days.  Bidding is per provisions of the Connecticut General Statutes and municipal codes and ordinances.

Request electronic Bidding Documents (no cost): July 10, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. by email to MunicipalBids@woodardcurran.com with complete contact information & subject line Canton CT-Primary Clarifier Rehabilitation.  Official Bidding Documents will be available once registered. Documents from third parties are not considered official Bidding Documents. Instructions for requesting Site visits are provided in the Bidding Documents.

Virtual non-mandatory pre-Bid conference: 10:00 a.m. local time on July 17, 2024; access instructions will be emailed.

Receipt of Bids:  11:00 a.m. on August 7, 2024. Submit to Canton Town Hall, 4 Market St, P.O. Box 168, Collinsville, CT 06019, Attention: John Kaminski. Bid security: 5% of total Bid.

Project is bid subject to the prevailing wage laws under CGS Chapter 557, §31-53 and 31-53a and CGS Chapter 558 and subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the Connecticut Department of Labor Commissioner who has adopted as prevailing wage rates in accordance with CGS §31-53(d).
