The upper tennis courts at Mills Pond Park are now OPEN! The lower tennis courts & basketball courts at Mills Pond Park will remain closed until further notice, due to necessary repairs.

12/23/2015 - Tax Increment Financing Master Plan

The Town of Canton, Connecticut invites proposals from qualified consultants with demonstrated experience and expertise in Tax Increment Financing (TIF) to help develop a TIF master plan and district to facilitate the development of the Collins Company factory complex in Collinsville, and to support investments in the surrounding area pursuant to Public Act 15-57.  This Request for Proposals (RFP) is available on the Town of Canton Website: http://www.townofcantonct.org/ and at the Canton Town Hall, 4 Market Street, Collinsville, CT 06022.

Seven (7) copies of the Statement of Qualifications describing the respondent, its experience in regard to Scope of Work with examples of such projects, special expertise and strengths, and a fee schedule shall be submitted to the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2016.   The Town of Canton reserves the right to reject any or all submitted proposals and to amend the Scope of Work in the process of selecting a Consultant.

Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Town website for any possible amendments to this RFP.
